Agenda:

  • 1 PM: Jen Kramer McKibben of 4Web, Inc., will give a 30 minute overview of social networking. What is it? Why is it important? How are businesses and organizations exploiting it? What are some things to think about when implementing social networking on your own sites?
  • 1:30 PM: Tish Grier, an online community organizer, will share her experiences with starting and maintaining online communities. What works? What doesn't? What happens when conflict arises?
  • 2:30 PM: 10 minute talks on Social Networking.  What have you used? How has it helped/hurt/been indifferent on your site or client sites? Let's share some success and failure stories and see what we can learn from each other.
  • Raffle for free book drawing and Adobe schwag. Books courtesy of O'Reilly and InformIT!
  • As always, there is no admission fee to attend our meetings.
