Agenda:
- 1 PM :Chris Triebert of Rock River Studio will demonstrate the basic use of adjustment layers and layer masking in Photoshop. Layer masks provides control and flexibility in selectively applying adjustments to an image.
Chris exhibits her fine art photography in galleries and shows throughout the northeast, and has built a national audience for her custom-toned landscape and still life imagery. Many of her images have been published in the US and Europe by Graphique de France, Aperture, NY, and The Art Group, UK., among others. She is a three-time recipient of an International Golden Light Award for photographic excellence.
Chris has 30+ years experience working in the traditional black and white darkroom, and since 2001 has worked with the latest technologies of digital printmaking. She’s also a skilled teacher having designed and led a variety of workshops at the Vermont Center for Photography, and currently serves as a mentor to local high school photography students.
- 2:30 PM: Ben Weiss of Ai Squared will talk to us about building a simple web site in Flex. Ben's bio:
- Founder and President of Ai Squared in Manchester, VT - developers of software products for the visually impaired (1986 - 2006)
- Developed several sites in Flex, including www.eslvt.com and www.rileyrink.com/livegreen.
- Writer for Timber Framing magazine
- Working on building 2nd timber frame
