The Zen of Facebook / Integrating Facebook and Wordpress
- Lisa McCormick and Julian McBrown: The Zen of Facebook It's common knowledge that a dynamic internet presence is crucial to marketing a small business. Yet with Internet marketing opportunities taking such a wide variety of forms (Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Your Website, Blogs, etc., etc., etc.), it's easy to become overwhelmed and discouraged, and to waste a lot of time and money barking up the wrong tree. Interestingly, Facebook provides an opportunity to combine the benefits of many of the multitudes of social media marketing opportunities, in one manageable do-it-yourself space. In this Zen of Facebook seminar, you'll learn how using Facebook can help you build your customer-base and grow your business via the Internet. You'll come away with a whole new understanding of what makes Facebook "tick" as a free social media marketing tool.
The Zen of Facebook is presented by Lisa McCormick and Julian McBrowne, two local artists who actively use the Internet as their primary marketing tool. Lisa McCormick is a guitar instructor who moved her business from the music studio onto the Internet as a way of allowing it to grow. She now teaches guitar to thousands of students worldwide, via the Internet. Julian McBrowne is a music producer and engineer who uses the internet extensively to operate and promote his home-based business. Originally scheduled for the February meeting.
